Transforming Postfix Expression To Infix

Postfix to Infix Algorithm
Let’s look out for the algorithm for converting postfix to infix expression:-
-  While there are input symbol left
-  Read the next symbol from input.
-  If the symbol is an operand (i.e. value)
-  Push it onto the stack.
-  Otherwise, the symbol is an operator.
-  If there are fewer than 2 values on the stack
-  (Error) The user has not input sufficient values in the expression.
-  Else, Pop the top 2 values from the stack (operand1 & operand 2).
-  Put the operator, with the values as arguments and form a string (like : operand1 operator operand2).
-  Encapsulate the resulted string with parenthesis. (like: (a+b)  if operand1 =’a’, operand2 =’b’, operator = ‘+’ )
-  Push the resulted string back to stack.
-  If there is only one value in the stack
-  That value in the stack is the desired infix string.
-  If there are more values in the stack
-  (Error) The user input has too many values.

Performance Center Issues Resolution

Performance Center Issues Resolution:
Issue-1
Sometimes one may find the status of the Host shown in Hosts page in Performance Center as “Resource Failure”.See img 1.

Because of this “Resource Failure” state, the respective host cannot be used either as a Controller or as a Load Generator in the test.
This may be because of many reasons but primarily because of
1. Low Disk Space on that particular Host.
If this kind of issue is observed on Host then one needs to clean up the disk space and then change the Status of Host from “Resource Failure” to “Available” state.
Note: This operation requires Admin privileges.
2. The Performance Center Agent Service is not running on that particular Host.
Here somehow the Performance Center Agent Service has been stopped. So we have to start the Performance Center Agent Service again.
Steps to start Agent Service:
· Go to Start->All Programs->Performance Center->Advanced Settings-> Performance Center Agent Service to start the service. see img2.

When the Performance Center Agent Service has been started, one can see the process named as “magentservice.exe” in Task Manager.
Alternatively, one can go to Start->Run and directly type “magentservice.exe” to start the Performance Center Agent Service see img 3.

After starting of the Agent service, one can observe that the state of that particular Host has been changed automatically from “Resource Failure” mode to “Operational” mode after some time.
see img 4.
Issue-2
Sometimes even after the test is completed and even after releasing the timeslot, the “Run Status” of the Hosts is not changed and still shows the same status for the test. In that case that Particular Host is blocked and is unavailable for further tests. In order to use that particular Host we need to perform “Deallocate Host” for that particular test.
Steps to Deallocate Host for any test:
1. Login to the Performance Center Admin Site.
2. Navigate to Site Managementà Test runs.
3. Then filter out the desired test, which is blocking any Host.
4. Click on the “Deallocate Host” button
5. Then one can see a pop-up window asking for “Deallocate Load Generator Host” and “Deallocate Analysis Host”. Generally can do away only with “Deallocate Load Generator Host” but it’s recommended doing both.
6. Then one can see the message as “Deallocation performed” and the respective host will be freed.
